Climate Control By Ashley Underdown

Well on April 26, 2017, Ashley Underdown wrote an article titled” Is The end of The world As We Know it?”. I pick this post because climate control is something that I also believe has been forgotten by the people not just in the U.S but around the world. Mrs. Underdown made some question that got me thinking of the beautiful places that could be affected by the decision President Trump made regarding climate control.

Nevertheless, we can be thankful that President Trump in only in office for four years. Hopefully, the damage to the environment won't be so bad. These could also help President Trump if climate control is not that important as we believe. Moreover, I believe we are about to find out how President Trump decision will impact earth. I also agree with Mrs. Underdown are we ready to pay the price and not do nothing about it.  It is the truth that we sound dramatic about global warming and how the earth is going to suffer this decision. Also, like Mrs. Underdown mention the country is a divide when it comes to global warming.  Hopefully, the decision President Trump took to eliminate climate control won't affect our planet that much. Also, this could be a wake-up call that climate control is real or maybe is not real. The only thing I can say for now is that we are about to find out.

President Trump Constant Complaint on Twitter

President Trump  constant complaint on Twitter about  Democrats and the Media

President Trump has been in offices for 100 days now, and not much has been accomplishing like he had hoped when he took office.  His first executive order to band people from seven muslin countries was a big turn down for his administration when a judge block it. Not happy about the court decision the President took it to Twitter and wrote.

If the President believe his executive order for banning people from these seven countries was the best thing to protect the American people. Why did he not provide evidence to the court about these seven muslin countries be a threat to the American people? Instead, he goes on twitter and complaint about the way the court rule on the case. Another problem that the President complaint about on Twitter was the repealing ObamaCare fail. It is clear that the President has faced some opposition in getting things don. However, is complaining about it on Twitter making things any better for his administration I believe not.  When he propose the bill that would replace Obamacare Bill many things were not clear to the American people, But instead, he complains on Twitter about why the bill fail to pass.

Another complain that President Trump made on Twitter was about how bad the media has been with him and not giving him credit for the accomplishment he has done. Not to mention that most of his accomplishment have been done through executive orders without been necessary.
Here is another tweet President Trump posted on Twitter about the media.

President Trump is always Tweeting about the flaws in the U.S government and how he is making it better. Despite the low approval rating President Trumps has compared to past presidents according to the Gallup post.

There are many things that I feel President Trump has not answer to the American people about the health care, border wall, and budget. I have not seen any tweet of how he plans to make America great and how the health care proposal will work for millions of people. Moreover, if only President Trump took the time to tweeted a more informative tweet about what his plans are. It would be more informative for the American people. Instead, he tweets and complaints about how the government is making it hard for him to do his job.I would like for him to take the time to go over his plans and what he wants to accomplish and how the media and the Democrats are making it hard for him. I do not believe that the tweets about his complaints help in understanding how the opposing side is making it hard if he does not explain how.

Review of “US Gov: Mary Jane and Me”

On March 30, 2017, Chance Love wrote on his blog  " US Gov: Mary Jane and Me I will start by saying that I agree with Mr. Love on the use of Marijuana for medical reasons. In his post-Mr. Love use examples of people with medical problems that benefit from the use of marijuana. Nevertheless, when it come to recreational use I do not see how this can benefit people regarding health used, but mostly for pleasure.

While I am not a marijuana user I do believe that there are some advantages to legalizing marijuana for recreational used, but mostly for medical purposes.Furthermore, Mr. Love uses some great examples of states that have adopted laws legalizing marijuana for the recreational and medical use and have shown an increase grow in their economy. While marijuana is still a problem on the federal level, I believe that if more states continue to adopt laws that legalize the use of marijuana it could end up been removed from the class 1 drugs.

However, only time will tell how marijuana has impacted states that have for now legalize for recreational and medical use.  Moreover, I would say that marijuana has come a long way and people's views have also changed in regards to marijuana. In conclusion, I agree with Mr. Love in regards to marijuana been beneficial for medical use. On the other hand, for recreational it will be more of an economy growth for the government. Mr. love makes a good argument about business been tax for Marijuana sales.

The President Should Spend less time attacking the Media

President Trump has been in office for 70 days now, and so far I would say that there is nothing of great accomplish for his administration. President Trump is a new kind of president that communicates through Twitter a lot.  On many occasion, President Trump has complained about the media and “Fake News.”

However, the President has opened himself up to this kind of attacks on his character. Not only that but when he is not happy about the news been report about him, he calls it fake new or what to find ways to change laws that limit journalist in their job. On  March 30,  2017, President Trump tweeted from his  Twitter account to change Libel laws. All because of an article published by the New York Times that he believe is a false statement on his persona.

Now he wants to change libel laws to sue organizations that do unfavorable coverage. However, President Trump is not the first president that has had hostile coverage, but he makes it easy for the media to target him because of his crazy tweets all the time and policies that seem to go nowhere. First, there was the travel band of seven muslin countries that was block by the court. There is also the failure of replacing  Obamacare.

I believe there are more pressing issues he should be working on then worrying about the media. For example, his budget that would cut lots of programs like education, justice, and much more. I believe this are the thing the Trump administration should spend their time on.  Not attacking the media and trying to change laws that limit journalist to do their job. There are more important things that require his attention, and his budget is one of them.

The connections between President Trump and Russia

On March nine, 2017 Nicholas Kristof from the New York Times wrote an article in his Opinion page title " Connecting Trump's Dots to Russia." Mr. Kristof main focus is the connections between President Trump and Russia. And how there has not been an investigation on the matter of Russia involvement in the U.S elections. I could not agree more with Mr. Kristof that is a central issue we should remain focus on. Just like Mr. Kristof I still wonder until this day if Russia did have anything to do with the election. To me, this is important because if another country can change our votes and impact who becomes our next president, this is something scary to think of. Another point that Mr. Kristof brought up and I agree with him is how the Trump administration denies any ties to Russia. Why go through so much trouble to deny any communication with Russia officials if it is like they say nothing to do with the elections or any national business. Now the big question is why is the President not releasing his tax returns. Is it possible that this could put him in jeopardy or should we just move on and forget about those tax returns.  We have a right to know if there were any connection between President Trump aides and Russia. If there were any link between the two why is it been investigated? Nevertheless, Mr. Kristof brought up excellent points that are still unanswered by the government.I believe that the points brought by Mr. Kristof are reasonable and the government should provide answers to those question so we can move.

The President and "fake news"

On February 24, 2017, the newspaper latimes.com/opinion publish an article title "Watch what Trump does about the media, not what he says" written by Michael McGough. I am assuming this article is intended for the general public.  This article caught my attention because I have never heard a President call the news "fake news." Mr. McGough starts by discussing how the President Mr. Trump use to used murky sources and now is telling the media they should publish their sources name. Nevertheless, Mr. McGough made an important point how journalist have been kill and imprisoned to inform the public and that they are not the enemy of the people. Is interesting to me how the President said quote" A few days ago, I called the fake news the enemy of the people,". In a certain way, I agree with Mr. McGough that the President should let the media do their job and not call the enemy of the people. I personally believe that if one is aware of what is happening on the political world one can make the decision if the news is fake or not. Also, if we are going to call or said the news is false, we should back it up with something else.  In my opinion, if a new is fake the source should not matter. The President is spending to much time calling the media the enemy of the people. How long as the journalist do everything under the law he should let them? Just because he does not agree with some of the stories should it be considered dishonest people.

Government Employee and Private Goods

When is it ok for a government employee to talk about their private goods on national television. According to an article title" White House says Conway has been 'counseled' after touting Ivanka Trump's products" this article is from the washingtonpost ..On how the president's official counselor use national television to advertise Ivanka Trump business. What I like about the article is that it talks about how executive branch employees and armed forces cannot use their public office for private gain. I think this is interesting because apparently, they thought it was ok to advertise using their public office title. I think is important to read and learn the facts about how the system works when it comes to private goods own by government officials. If we are not well informed, we might not see something wrong with a government official doing this for personal gain.
